The Voice of the Hudson
Synopsis:
Eight high school boys explore the depths of their abilities over the course of a human-powered expedition down the length of the Hudson River. In parallel with an analysis of the varying levels of pollution on the Hudson River, this story weaves human endeavor with environmental advocacy.

In July 2023, Barnfly Productions was hired by outdoor adventure company Mountain Goat Movement to film the students' journey from Lake Tear of the Clouds to Jersey City, where the Hudson empties into the Atlantic Ocean.

Personal statement:
Though we were faced with steep challenges and continuously strenuous days, I would jump at the opportunity to do something like this project again. The long days of filming and intense physical activity alongside a crew I admire brought me more fulfillment than almost anything else I've experienced.
